There are several adventures compiled together to create The Jungle Book. It is raw, emotional, and at times, sad.

Not a happy ever after story. Still, I will always recommend it.

Also a part of this set are some of Mr.Holly - a World War II-era society girl in her late teens - survives via socialization, attending parties and restaurants with men from the wealthy upper class who also provide her with money and expensive gifts. If you are thinking this is a family book, I would wait until the children are mature enough to understand that the themes in this book are outdated and can just enjoy the literature instead of worrying about the messages it might be conveying.

The soundtrack makes it even better. The complete collection of Kipling's classic tales.
